One sin

The book of Genesis is literally a book of beginnings. At the end of Genesis 5, we are introduced to Noah, and he, along with his family, are the first people to be saved in the sense that God spared them from the flood. As a result, his story becomes an origin story for our understanding of salvation. So, in this lesson, we examine what Noah, whose name means “rest,” teaches us about the eternal rest associated with salvation.
