incarnation
One example of religious jargon that does not typically appear in everyday conversation is the word “incarnation.” This term communicates a key biblical truth regarding God’s relationship with man, namely that His plan of salvation necessitated that His Son become human. To appreciate what it means for Jesus to be God-in-the-flesh, we need to consider what He gave up, so in this lesson on the incarnation, we will examine all of the divine privileges that Jesus “emptied” Himself of to become human.
