During the course of the exodus, the Israelites complained a lot. They complained about undrinkable water, a lack of food, and a lack of dietary variety. Interestingly, the Bible presents their complaints as an example of what we should NOT do (1 Corinthians 10:1-13). Why is complaining such a big deal to God that He compares it to idolatry and sexual immorality as sins of the Israelites that angered Him?
