In 1 Thessalonians 4:1, Paul instructs Christians to “excel still more.” In order to fulfill Paul’s “more” mandate, there are some things we must eliminate. And one of those things is laziness. Far too many people, identifying themselves as Christians, are choosing to be spiritually lazy by employing corner cutting tactics, developing minimalistic mindsets, and choosing reputation reliance. The goal of this lesson is to examine what the Bible has to say about laziness because we can’t do or be more if we keep settling for less.
