Gender identity has become a hot topic both socially and politically in our nation. We now live in a society that defines gender as “one’s internal sense of self” rather than as one’s biological sex. As individuals, we may have our own personal opinions on what constitutes one’s gender, but as Christians, it is our responsibility to construct our ethics on such matters around what the Bible says. But does the Bible address this topic, and if so, what does it actually say about gender identity?
